By the way, take a pencil or Pen with you. Jippy has 3 small ones there but all 3 have broken points.

Well after talking to Roger again we figure he's 180 out on his bearing so right now he reports a 1/2 scale signal from Garden Grove right around 260-270 aiming at the north side of PV which makes COMPLETE SENSE now.
Wonder why it can't be heard from Skyline? Strange indeed.
This whole time the assumption was that the signal would be northeasterly towards Jippy's home. Guess not!

That's correct Steve...Jippy was giving coords to the PREVIOUS location up in Covina. I think you're just trying to be funny but I couldn't tell.
Well Deryl if you could give us a good place to start that would be nice. I won't drive 50 miles in the wrong direction before I get an idea of where I should really head.

Just so it's clear. Geo Tran III is on the air and GEO Tran II location has been reviled in a log a few before this one.
Thanks

Went out today and heard NOTHING again. Hello is this ON? Laying on the ground maybe?
Listened from these spots: East side of Bonelli Park above Brackett Field, views from Hwy 39 to Cajon Pass, elev. 1200 ft. Coords: 34 04.960, 117 47.391. Good spot for a future Geotran or Sat nite hunt.
Nature trail above Fullerton start point.
Top of Grand at Summitridge Park, Diamond Bar looking West thru N/E.
Check vert and horiz. and still nadda. I did hear NO6B's low level remote dumping out on 146.570. Very annoying! It's coming from Diamond Bar.
OK so it's not north, south, east, or west. Maybe northwest back towards LA again?
Frustrating indeed!

FULL MOON MADNESS TONIGHT!
Went up to Bastanchury/St. College below the Summit House and listened for 2 min. then my radio died. No backup battery so had to go home dejected and all.
YGC reports NOTHING in Diamond Bar. So are we supposed to listen northeasterly or what?
